LIBRARY
The College has its own well equipped Library which receives professional Journal and has relevance to the profession of Social Work. The Students are expected to make regular and extensive use of the Library. Reading Facilities are also available for the student. The Library has not only been serving our own students but also many scholars from different institutions and universities also come to consult it. It has a very good collection of carefully selected books on Social Work and allied subject.
NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (N.S.S.)
The College has a unit of the N.S.S. which has earned the reputation of being one of the most active and committed units in the university. The scheme provides for social service and learning opportunities to the N. S. S. Volunteers primarily to promote a sense of social commitment qualities and a sense of social responsibilities among them.
HOSTEL
DAISW had been running DR. AMBEDKAR BOYS HOSTEL since 1997. Students who need hostel facility should apply to the principal.
SCHOLARSHIP & FREESHIPS
Those students of this college who fulfill the necessary condition as laid down by the Central & State Govt. are also eligible for the scholarship.
ELECTROL VOTER ID & AADHAR CARD
It is mandatory for the applicant to insert details about their voter ID cards as per the recommendation of R.T.M. Nagpur university. Applicant should attach the Photocopy of their Voter ID card with application form. Those who do not have voter ID should apply for it as soon as possible.
REWARDS
DAISW encourages and promotes students to do their best and work hard for getting success at every level. Students are rewarded for their success. In Post Graduate section the students who secures first position in M.S.W. final Year is rewarded by giving memento and certificate in co-memoration of late Dhyandeo Meshram. In under Graduate section the students secures first position in B.S.W. final year is rewarded by giving memento and certificate in the memory of late Jijabai Dhnyando Meshram.
